TGR BioSciences is an Australian biotechnology company specialising in the development and manufacture of technologies for detection of biological molecules. TGR has purpose-built facilities in Adelaide with state-of-the-art capabilities in antibody-based detection methods.

TGR has developed a range of assays, termed AlphaScreen SureFire, that measure the phosphorylation status of signalling proteins in cells. There are currently about 50 such assays, and more are to come in the next 12 months. These assays measure key signalling events in cells and provide a fast, quantitative readout of cellular activation status of many receptor and non-receptor activated pathways. These assays are co-marketed world-wide by our partner, PerkinElmer.

TGR is a member of Proteomics Australia. Through this association, and with our partner PerkinElmer, TGR makes the SureFire assays available to Australian scientists at substantially discounted prices compared to overseas clients.
