The Queensland Institute of Medical Research (QIMR) Protein Discovery Centre provides proteomics infrastructure and expertise particularly in the area of infectious diseases. QIMR’s offers a world leading proteomics facility together with expertise in post translational modification (PTM) and handling and characterising infectious diseases such as malaria, SARS and respiratory viruses (such as respiratory syncytial virus, influenza and other exotic parasitic diseases). The Institute holds a large collection of tumour samples and provides enhanced scope for future developments in tissue imaging and projects related to onco-proteomics.
